My focus is on meeting the needs of procurement and facility professionals in different organizations, provide insight, increase efficiency and drive cost savings.
HEALTHCARE
As from July 2013 Belgian medical centers and social service providers are now liable to the public procurement directive, which had a huge impact on their procurement departments and strategies.
I support several prominent medical centers in re-shaping their procurement department; recruiting the right staff, training and on-the-job coaching of the workforce, designing and implementing procurement procedures and processes, monitoring the implementation of the public procurement directive after adequate training, assessing spend analysis and providing long-range procurement planning and implementing the contract management tool. I support the accreditation process for supply chain (GLD6&7).

TELECOM
To support Telenet, one of Belgium's prominent telecom service providers, I took temporary responsibility over the procurement and facilities department and re-defined the internal structures. In charge of operations in both departments, I introduced category management. I initiated several international projects.
Through my expertise a state of the art refurbishing project of the office according to the "activity based working"-principle kicked off.
PHOTO INDUSTRY & MEDIA
For Smartphoto and VRT, I brought in-depth expertise to several procurement and facilities projects, like category development, strategic sourcing, re-engineering and outsourcing from a cost saving point of view.
My input was required for installing a performant world-class procurement department.
For VRT I defined efficient procurement procedures and implemented the public procurement directive from a commercial perspective. For this project I was nominated second in the VIB Supply Chain Award in 2010.
